• Organize warehouses to cater the efficient housekeeping of stock inventory according to various business types.
• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Ensures the storage is performed at dedicated area of an SKU/material on a standard palletized stacking height to gain optimized space utilization and smooth operations.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
• Plan routes and load scheduling for multi-drop deliveries and direct all transportation activities.
• Manages the truck fleet in accordance with the daily planned sales to achieve the optimize load management as per the weight and volumetric measures of loading space and stock.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring safety & security procedures and protocols
• Ensures the safety of warehouse/transport work force by strong implementation of aimed safety measures/Standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse/transport by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Completes warehouse/transport operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Maintains warehouse/transport staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
• Ensure all partners in the supply chain are working effectively and efficiently to assurance of smooth operations.
