The Project Manager duties are vary, it is summarized in following up with all current stage’s aspects, such as;
Enabling work and Infrastructure (EW&Infra) Phase:
- Preparing BOD’s meetings, presentations, and minutes of meetings,
- Supervising 3rd party consortium contained of 16 consultants, along with receive, review, and approve all deliverables,
- Reviewing all 3rd party consortium invoices and payments,
- Preparation of (PMCM - EW&Infra) RFPs,
- Exploring all project’s financial options, and examine the optimal scenario,
- Preparing all communication letters to banks and lending entities,
- Attending all weekly progress meetings with Integrated Development Center (IDC) at Makkah Governor’s office,
- Floating (PMCM - EW&Infra) RFPs, attending pre-tender meetings, and accompany them to site visits,
- Receiving bids, opening technical - commercial envelops, analyzing tenders, recommending preferred bidders,
- Arranging negotiation meetings with preferred bidders (Consultant/Contractor),
- Obtaining Top Management approvals for awarding.
3 earlier phases has been successfully completed, in collaboration with 24 international consultants, as follows:
Development phase: Draft RFPs, pre-qualify short listed (Consultant/Contractor), sales & marketing strategies, investment packages,
Design phase: Master plan, Infrastructure design, district cooling, STP, Power substations, anchor components,
Concept phase: Concept design, Business/financial models, Architectural blocks, lake, fountains, water canals.
