My research is focus on web engineering, semantic search and design methodologies. Over the years, the focus has moved from eLearning over human computer interaction towards web design methods and semantic search.

I am doing knowledge transfer to educational sector. For that, I manage students and some working people and mix the research and make industry visible in academic sector and use the idea!
Responsible for web internal search and technology assessment of Sony corporate Marketing website in various regions and countries (currently hosting 60 countries, 29 languages).
- Manage the Innovation of Website technology.
- Semantic Search: Research, analysis, development and reporting on the Sony Product Catalog Ontology .
- Web Marketing (SEO & Web Merchandizing).
- Big Data SEO: In depth capturing and analysis user search queries “Big-data”; with goal to understand Sony customers better, to promote website(s) user journey/ content/ products/ services, etc.
- End-to-end product content launch process.
- Gathering information about customer from Google, Social media (forum discussions, twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Google+, Blogs, Reviews, etc.), to customise what we offer for the customer.
- Assisted Sony business groups assessing investment requests related to online SEO & SEM.
- Prepare, monitor, and reporting the performance of internal as well as external search when new product launch.
PhD Researcher at the Computer Science department of the Faculty of Science at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. More specifically, I was a member of Web & Information System Engineering (WISE) laboratory, where my research focused on Web usability.
Research interests include Web Engineering, conceptual modeling, object oriented modeling, user interface design, schema transformations, CASE tools and Virtual Reality for the web.
Involved in many European projects, responsible for solving portals problems and developing new sub-websites. Also a website design advisor for the Health-EU Portal at the European Commission.
The PhD dissertation title is "Towards Designing Localized Websites". Activities and Societies: The research focused on Web usability and designing usable localized websites.
I designed a framework for educational portals and Web-based Distance Learning
during my study I got -the best ECommerce portal, awarded by the UNDP, 2001, Palestine. this project was my Bachelor graduation project.
