• Involved in the continuous development and delivery of appropriate training programs for students who take up Goldsmithing as their preferred course at the Vocational Training Corporation.
• Sharing insights about the crafts of Goldsmithing and Silversmithing, and the way they are applied to create beautiful, worthy and precious jewelry.
• Developing a theoretical as well as practical teaching approach, creating a balanced mix of both, and delivering structured, self-paced lessons to the class.

Key Responsibilities:
• Functioned as the Technical Goldsmith with major involvement in conceptualizing designs, deploying appropriate technologies to create them and finalizing final outcomes.
• Shaped various metals to hold gemstones as per the design requirements, while making individual pieces for custom orders placed by customers.
• Handled the end-to-end process for thorough identification, examination, and grading of diamonds and other gems, in line with industry best practices.
• Prepared required models and structures using either carved wax or computer aided designing tools, and sought approvals to send it for casting.
• Designing, structuring, modeling, and developing jewelry, artifacts, and other objects using gold, silver and precious gemstones.
• Handled various other activities such as jewelry repairing, replacement of broker clasps, alteration in ring sizes, resetting of precious stones, re-polishing etc.
• Cleaned and polished jewelry using polishing wheels and chemical baths to ensure that the luster and freshness of the piece remains intact.
