Detailed Failure investigation lead to understand D&M tool failures and lack of management system and identify the root cause of the tool failure, and all corrective actions.
Review and approve tools failures reports from the failure investigation teams.
Develop QIP on tools that cause majority of the NPT in locations. Review and help sustaining in implementation.
Track the implementation of the QIP and its impact on NPTr reduction.
Generating Site-specific reports pertaining to SQ and reliability tracking.
Workshop LWD technical training and development.
Employee engagement by organizing and leading Audits and SQ campaigns and events.
Understand the COSD in each GM, and work with the R&M team to reduce the COSD by coming up with repair, re-reuse criteria & time life of parts.
Using the data from the failures, work with the TLM teams to improve the QTARC (maintenance) processes.
Develop reliability program for the area.
Assist the QCM/ QSC with the audit of tool inspections.
Assist the QCM with quality crisis management & the implementation of the Quality plan.
Coordinates the field test of parts, software or Modification with sustaining and measure the impact of these on reliability on COSD.
Led Instructor Trainer for LWD courses in MLC when needed.
Generating SQ Alerts and Learning from Incidents (LFI).
Conducts frequent CMEA site visit when needed.
Prepare the Department’s Monthly SQ Meetings and the quarterly segment Review meetings.
Supervise Maintenance for drilling and measurements tools.
Is responsible for the development of maintenance staff and the tracking of their progress in the equip program.
Sets safety objectives for all direct reports including QUEST reporting and safety training minimums.
Supervise Implementation of preventive maintenance protocol through an operating hours tracking system.
Supervise modification on tools based on product center newly released technical alerts and FCOs.
Liaises with personnel department with regard to Technician recruiting when requested by line management; Forecasts upcoming Maintenance personal needs.
Promotes respect of management procedures, technical standards, work instructions and Uniform Operating Procedures in all technical areas.
Performs risk assessments on an on-going basis and ensures that where new equipment is introduced that such risk assessments shall be up-dated as required.
Responsible for the equipment planning and ordering.
Supervises service levels on equipment.
Capture and investigate Non-conformances with regards to root cause, and follow up with the implementation of corrective actions
Establishing processes and monitor the progress in quality assurance activities
Mentoring for new hires and the cross training program candidates.
Participate in preparing quality / inspection plans based on clients requirements
Works without supervision on the LWD modules proficient in.
Follows and implements the R&M process (RITE) and utilizes appropriate maintenance manuals and procedures including relevant use of RMS and associated paperwork.
Keeps up-to-date with mod-recaps, TIR’s and the implementation of these in tools.
Actively participates in knowledge sharing and reuse.
Proactively monitors use, and re-ordering of required inventory and spare parts.
