MSc Aerospace Engineering, University of Salford Manchester (2011- 2013) Graduated 2:1 Key subjects: Finite Element Method, Aerodynamics, Aerospace Assembly and Flight Dynamics & Control. Main Project: Autonomous Helicopter Flight Control System Design using MATLAB/SIMULINK: The aim of this project is to comprehend the fundamentals of the helicopter modelling and develop a math simulation as per the details of Yamaha R-50 helicopter. A controller is formulated that is used to alleviate the model in hovering movement. First a non-linear helicopter simulation math model has been developed and this model hereafter linearised to derive a linear model. By use of this linear model a controller has been designed. Then the designed controller was then tested on non- linear model to analyse to the strength of the controller.
B.E Aeronautical Engineering, Rajalakshmi Engineering College (Affiliated to Anna University, India) (2007 - 2011) Graduated with First Class. Key subjects: Strength of Materials, Avionics, Experimental Stress Analysis, Solid Mechanics, Finite Element Method, Fatigue and Fracture, Physics, Engineering Mathematics, Aerodynamics, Aircraft Structures, Propulsion, Flight Dynamics, Principle of Management. Project: A project assigned by Structural Technology Division, National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore, India was aimed to design and development of Flapping Wing Micro Aerial Vehicle. There are number of MAVs available and in research for various purposes. Amongst, Flapping Wing MAVs plays a vital role in replicating a bird fly and hence can be effectively utilized for military purposes like surveillance, covert access, air force deployment, swarm operations, terrain adaptability, remove tag and target, etc., This project is carried out under the guidance of Dr.S.Raja, Scientist E2, Structures and Technologies Division (STTD), National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore, India.
