Plan, develop, coordinate, direct, and supervise all activities associated with employee performance management and employee relations affairs to ensure highest satisfaction level amongst all employees in order to maximise productivity and efficient and effective output of work.

1. Staffing & Appraising: First, I was responsible for recruiting, interviewing and selecting the suitable trainers to work with me in the Institute and I was also responsible for appraising the job performance of the employees in this Institute.

2. Performance Management: Principal Accountabilities:
-Define, develop, and evaluate HR policies, and in particular, Performance Management policies and procedures that help employees, and eventually the Institute, achieve their job tasks and their objectives efficiently and effectively.
-Introduce, implement, and evaluate the Employee Performance training, Management System as follows:
-Planning work and setting expectations,
-Continually monitoring performance,
-Developing the capacity to perform,
-Periodically rating performance in a summary fashion, and
-Rewarding good performance.
-Develop, recommend, implement, and evaluate performance management programs, seminars, and workshops.

3. Employee Relations: Principal Accountabilities
-Develop, implement, and evaluate Employee Relations policies and procedures that help employees achieve their job tasks and their objectives efficiently and effectively.
-Develop, recommend, implement, and evaluate employee relations programs, seminars, and workshops.
-Develop, implement, and evaluate strategies and activities to promote efficient and effective delivery of HR services.
-Ensure equity, justice, satisfaction and economical delivery of HR services to all employees.
-Ensure that all employees at all levels are satisfied and free from worries to concentrate fully on their job tasks.
-Coordinate and advise the concern department(s) in finding solutions of the problems pertaining to their employees and to follow the mechanism of implementing the proper action(s).
-Identify communication barriers and task steps to remove them.
-Ensure the meritorious service of the employees is duly recognized and such employees are suitably rewarded.
-Monitor and follow-up the various awards ceremonies.

4. Employee Discipline: Principal Accountabilities
-Develop, implement, and evaluate Employee Disciplinary policies and procedures that help employees achieve their job tasks and their objectives efficiently and effectively.
-Ensure proper and fair implementation of disciplinary policies and procedures.
-Develop, implement, and update a sound Counselling System to remove employees' grievances.
-Conduct counselling sessions for employees whom their conduct and performance require so.
-Ensure proper implementation of the appeal procedures as well as reviewing all notes and documents required.
-Special Assignments: Besides my principal accountabilities, I have been in charge of several assignments/ projects as follows:

Training & Development:
I am responsible for training and developing the staff members of Performance Management & Employee Relations Department in order to help them perform their job tasks efficiently and effectively. I have, in fact, been following the training cycle through which I have:
-Identified the training needs of the staff and then
-Designed the required courses, seminars, and presentations that touch the essence of human resources functions;
-In some cases delivered the courses; and finally
-Evaluated the courses

Development of Recruitment System:
The moment I joined the Institute, I was asked by the chair man to develop an efficient and effective recruitment system that would facilitate the process of attracting, employing, and retaining highly skilled employees.

Induction Program:
I am responsible for introducing the new entrants to the Institute.

Training Section Head at Specific Council for Vocational Training in Industry

• Evaluate training requests submitted to the SCVTI for Bahrainis
employees working in industrial organizations.
• Approve all reimbursement request submitted to SCVTI by industrial organizations.
• Provide counseling and consultation services for the industrial
organizations under SCVTI about training, training needs (TNA) and evaluation of training.
• Maintain good relationships with the industrial organizations
representatives and provide good customer services.
• Do periodic site visits to the industrial organizations and training
providers to ensure high standards of training.
• Participate in planning training activities organized by SCVTI to the industrial sector.
• Member in training, industrial awareness and apprenticeship
programs committees in the SCVTI.

• Staffing & Appraising I was responsible for recruiting, interviewing and selecting the suitable staff to work in the SCVTI and I was also
responsible for appraising the job performance of the employees in this Council.
