** Process Improvement
• Studying “AS IS” processes (for production) with time and motion study which
helps in other projects like capacity study, costing, and cost cutting (improvements) projects.
• Focusing on the activities on the shop floor and working on eliminating the 7 wastes.
• Building up target focused teams, with reviewing, analyzing, and improving the output.
• Coaching workers on the new procedures with documentation and visualizing.
• Responsible for establishing and maintaining clear and effective purchasing policies and procedures. (Procurement Department)
• Utilizing my accounting skills by petty cash account management and monthly budget plan (Procurement Department)
** Project Management
• Capacity study and analysis: studying the current capacity of machines and number of machines to be added to meet the defined targets.
• Facility layout: redesigning of fabrication, assembly, and warehouse areas in addition to the offices to insure meeting the new defined targets and any future expansions (AutoCAD).
• Involved in the loan application submitted to the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF)
• Costing and Quotation Tool project with administering and controlling
the process and prices that is coordinated with marketing and technical departments.
* Got involved with the production process, starting from receiving the raw material till dispatching the final product going through the packaging, sterilization process, and inspection procedure.
* Participated in internal auditing with Quality Assurance Department.
* Participated in preparing technical file for a new released product.
* Involved in a set up cost study to release a new product.
* Graduated as a second honor student from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) with B.S. degree of Industrial & Systems Engineering. * Honor standing in all semesters. * "Excellent Academic Performance Award” as a distinguished student, SE Department, KFUPM. * The 4th place in the IEEE contest in innovation (The Ideas Challenge Contest), 2009. * The 5th place in the (STC idea competition), 2010.
