Key Result Areas:
•Supervising financial statements & preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly accounts for the management/board and administering yearly audit; Assist to prepare consolidated Financial Statements including subsidiaries for Statutory Audit along with submission of Group Reporting; ensuring the compliance of business transaction with GAAP & IFRS
•Preparing reconciliation for payroll coordinating with appropriate departments, allocating costs to inter companies & preparing statements to provide accurate financial information for management
•Introducing & working on new reconciliations at transaction level that assisted in reducing suspense items
•Assisting in monthly financial close by analyzing & reviewing balance sheet accounts, and ensuring financial transactions were recorded accurately, which included researching various financial reports meeting with management to determine the cause of variances
•Managing reconciliation of accounts receivable and accounts payable trial balances with the general ledger control account; checking accounts payable to ensure completeness of recording liability; ensuring that accurate claims are filed with vendors and receivable collected on time
•Analyzing & preparing Inter-company related parties and shareholders reconciliations & as well as IC Movement on monthly basis, assisting in filings of VAT Returns for all business units as per the FTA deadline
•Formulating bank reconciliation over 140 banks, pre-payment schedule, monitoring daily cash clearing & following up with appropriate departments to obtain pending documents and resolve un-reconciled items
•Participating in reviewing & booking of LC, Trust Receipts & short-term loans, accrued interest and interest expense schedule on monthly basis and settle LC/TR/Loan/Interest once it's mature
Key Result Areas:
•Supervised & motivated a team of 6 resources; confirmed payable transactions were recorded correctly as per company SOPs & GAAP; managed & implemented Procure to Pay (P2P) as company upgraded from Oracle 11i to Oracle R12
•Prepared reports (unit wise and consolidated level) for management review i.e. Aging Analysis, Prepayments Schedules, Open Purchase Order, Un-invoiced Receipts, Inventory/Expense AP Accrual Reconciliation Report, Notes Payables and LCM (Landed Cost Management), and so on
•Provided customer service for the internal & external clients i.e. mailing correspondence, setting up payment dates and tracking information, overriding payment terms in the system, providing information, updating files, typing, filing reports
•Prepared daily payment proposals and reviewed postings against actual invoices
•Reviewed & analyzed the expenditure vouchers for proper coding and cost allocations; executed accounts payable module reconciliation with GL to cross-check the financial entries, identify and rectify error if any on timely manner
•Maintained Suppliers Master Data of existing & new suppliers by updating bank details for online payments
•Prepared & organized IC and related parties reconciliations on monthly basis to ensure transactions are processed and balances are reconciled
•Assessed, closed & validated accounts payable sub-ledger monthly and resolved emergent issues
