Serving as senior Consultant for 12 different clients
Handling installation, upgrades, patches, TAR support, database tuning, concurrent manager administration, cloning and
Oracle Apps SYS admin functions
Handling gamut of tasks like database creation, database tuning/reorganization, SQL statement tuning, backup/recovery,
general troubleshooting, firefighting, developer/integrator relations, script development, Unix Administration,
documentation & DBA training
Extensive experience in Oracle database 12c multi tenant architecture
Carrying out daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the
appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary
Executing regular file archival and purge as necessary
Conducting ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization, as required
Interfacing with impacted constituencies and ensuring periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning
System Administration:
Accountable for installing new / rebuilding existing servers and configuring hardware, peripherals, services, settings,
directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project / operational requirements
Responsible for researching and recommending the innovative / automated approaches for system administration tasks
Identifying the approaches that leverage resources and provide economies of scale
Carrying out daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and
key processes, reviewing system and application logs and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups
Delivering support per request from various constituencies
Investigating and troubleshooting the critical issues
Configuring CPU, memory, and disk partitions, as required
Sustaining the data center environment and monitoring equipment

UNIX Shell scripts for monitoring the processes, sessions & transactions on Production RAC database after migration
Configured backups using logical (exp/imp & expdp/impdp) and physical backups (hot and cold)
Handled documentation for Clusterware installation, RAC RDBMS installation, RAC Database creation, Grid Control
installation, ASM setup & agent deployment
