1. Planning, Initiating, implementing and overseeing operational excellence in project planning, scheduling and engineering, commissioning and other project deliverables with focus on time, cost and scope.
2. Ensuring implementation of plant/system engineering projects according to schedule and cost requirements. Managing change of requests, delays, and other issues that arise during the project. Determining and executing corrective actions to meet targets and optimizing project margins.
3. Assuring projects follow good methodology and execution practices in accordance with internal standard procedures.
4. Defining together with project control department, the related scope of work, costs, schedule, and work breakdown structure. Controlling project progress versus schedule and budget. Identifying and analyzing risk management issues, and devises plans to minimize
risk.
5. Overseeing project invoicing, cash flow, and financial target achievement.
6. Leading the project team allocated to the project, defining main guidelines, allocating project tasks, and motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones. Providing feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects.
7. Managing appropriate selection of external resources. Coordinating with relevant internal discipline leaders to defining schedule of deliverables, and overseeing progress versus schedule and quality requirements. Supporting supply chain management regarding negotiations, claims, or project changes.
8. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers, providing regular status reports, and communicating effectively to ensure satisfaction. Serving as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
9. Supporting customer claim issue resolution (new scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risks quantification, etc.). Negotiating variation of scope of work or claims, ensuring project profit within company policy.
