Aziz Group of industries has 7 Factories (3 Peshawar, 2 Gaddon, 1 Shiekhupura) being an IT Manager of the group my responsibilities are:-
1:- System Administration of SAP B1 ( Spinning Unit & Match Unit )
2:- Managing WAN links Between Factory and head office (P2P, VLAN)
2:- LAN and almost network of 100 computers.
3:- Managing work force of 4 people working at different factories.
4:- Purchasing of IT equipments.
5:- MDaemon and GFI email content security, Squid Server, Terminal Servers, Wingate, Polycom video conferencing.
6:- IP Cameras and CCTV with DVR and NVR
7:- Installation and Implementation of HandPunch system for almost 1800 employee in a Spinning factory for attendance and Salary disbursement.
SAP B1 was implemented in spinning unit of Aziz Group of Industry; I worked on this project as Project Coordinator.
I contributed my professional services effectively from Initial stage till Go Live, specially I conducted Market research and analysis of selection of ERP to implement and selected SAP B-1 Then we made various comparison of Implementation Partners and finalized Abacus Consulting as they are Gold Partner for SAP B1 Implementation in Pakistan and they have mix experience of local companies as well as international projects.
I worked intensively from allocation of resource, finalization of hardware, Business Process mapping to Go Live System with Implementing Partner, now successfully doing Administration of SAP B1 for day to day problem solving of the Users.
Now we started implementation of SAP B1 in our Match Industry. My role is to supervise all the implementation activities.
Being the System Support Engineer at DIB main branch Peshawar Cantt, I am responsible for more then 25 Systems Hardware and Software troubleshooting including Printers scanner and network equipments.
I am also looking after the Avaya IP phone exchange and CCTV system of the branch. My main duty is to maintain branch systems and application in 100% working order to get maximum customers satisfaction
One of my key responsibilities is also to report to my Regional Head IT, regarding the branch status on weekly basis.
My responsibilities are:
• Troubleshooting LAN & Wan.
• Dealing with the Vendors.
• Support calls.
• Configuration of Router’s and Switches
• Keeping record of stocks in Hand.
• Reporting.
• Protection of desktops and laptops
Being the IT Engineer/Network Analyst, I was responsible for more than 500 systems hardware/software troubleshooting Including Ten Macintosh Computers Printers Multimedia Projectors. Designing & Looking after Head Office’s LAN which is spread in KMs and all locations are connected through Fiber Optic and are terminated to a Core Switch.

In Packages Ltd mostly printing machine are computer operated these computer are pre installed from their companies, so there uptime are so critical to maintain healthy customer satisfaction. Other then my routine work I have to look after these computers.
Correspondence with the vendors abroad and local on emails and phone call for support and weekly activities
Maintaining files and system documentation for ISO 9001 and ISO 14000

Others responsibilities are to ensure 24 x 7 uptime of all servers, services and network with the minimum downtime, if required. And appropriate scheduled backups of all the servers and configurations. And to further fine-tune the systems to keep to their peak. Hardware maintenance and trainings include Dell Optiplex Systems, Compaq/HP Proliant, DL & ML series servers with external tape drive storage, maintaining up-to-date documentation of all the systems.
