· Responsible for developing & nurturing new accounts while retaining the existing portfolio
of clients. (incl. tender clients and BCO & NVO accounts)
· Tender Contract Management / RFP response for key clients.
· Coordinating and overseeing all aspects to manage and solve conflicts with clients.
· Conducting client meetings on a daily basis to build strong customer relationship.
· Follow - up on sales lead with a prompt visit to introduce Wan Hai Line’s services.
· Preparing detailed daily reports to the management at Taipei Headquarters.
· Achieve the defined targets set by the management.
· Provide quotes and negotiation with the rates to yield maximum volume.
· Follow up with clients in a timely professional manner.
· Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Monitoring the credit situation and clear the outstanding amounts on a timely basis.
· Coordination with the pricing team at Taipei for special rates/quotation approval and
timely filling of rates for each account to specific PODs.
· Liaising with Documentation department to confirm vessel manifests.
· Monthly and voyage forecasting (SD, RF and SE EQs).
· Assisting clients with ad-hoc queries.
· Coordinating with POD’s to clear long-stay container issue cases.
· Liaising with the Operations in terms of forecasting & setting weekly EQC Management at
Jebel Ali Port, container/cargo damage, RF malfunctions & other unforeseen issues.
· Overall handling and responsibility of each and every account.
