• To exercise general control over all activities in showroom.
• To ensure safe keeping both as to quality and quantity of material.
• To maintain proper record (documentation), maintain credit party’s relationship.
• To place the purchase requisition for the stock of all regular store items whenever the stock level of any item of store approaches the minimum limit fixed in respect thereof.
• To check and receive purchased materials forwarded by the receiving department and to arrange for the storage in appropriate places.
• To issue materials only in required quantities against authorized requisition notes (MIN)
• Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, and monitoring what local competitors are doing.
• To check the book balances, with the actual physical stock at regular interval by way of internal control over wrong issues.
• Tremendous coordination with store manager and management as well.
• To maintain the quality of customer service and brand image as well.
• Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits
