-Job Description (Responsibilities & Tasks):
Installation and configuration of Huawei-CBS platform.
Installation and configuration of Huawei 3G-VGS platform (SCG and MDSP).
Installation and configuration of Protie VRBT system (CPEs, MAK, SPL, Web and ITG Boards).
Installation and configuration of Huawei IN platform (SCPs, SMPs, FEPs, Webservers, RBI, SMS, etc.) On IBM & SUN servers & connect it to Windows-based GUI clients.
Integration of various nodes used in core network like CBS/IN/HLR/ MSC /SMSC/MMSC/GGSN etc.
Knowledge on SS7 Signaling protocol including signaling flow in CBS/IN system
and signaling devices (SAU) with telecom switching principles.
KPIs; Designing and analyzing of CBS/ IN statistical and traffic reports to ensure correct system behavior and planning for future needs.
Integration with various elements in the network like Billing/Mediation/Provisioning.
Operation and maintenance CBS, IN, FIN, VGS, CRBT, PRBT and EMC Networker and CRBT in respective circles.
Administration and configuration of COMVIVA PreTUPS (TopUP) system.
Interface person with Marketing-product development & value added service(VAS)-
teams to implement and support new services, and to plan for new campaigns and
promotions.
Adequate experience in pre-paid roaming issues (CAMEL).
Adequate experience in AAA system.
Coordinate with Marketing for various pre-paid products and configure it in CBS, IN and FIN systems.
Coordinate with Marketing for various 3G products and configure it in the VGS system.
Understanding of various core nodes used in wireless network like HLR/ VLR/ MSC/ GMSC/ SSP/SCF/SMSC/MMSC etc.
Supervision and coordination with Vendor for upgrades, operations, patch and hot fixes.
Completed all migrations & cutovers from Huawei IN platform to IN-GDR platform.
Charging matrix Configuration.
