Besides inculcating business acumen, I have also developed customer relationship management skills and ensured that all customers are provided with adequate product knowledge so they are sure of their investments into medical equipment to achieve exceptional after sales service to retain the current customer base and also generates additional sales because of high customer satisfaction level. Also leading all marketing and promotional campaigns for new product launches to manage all aspects of a successful marketing campaign was one of my major responsibilities that resulted in growing the business for the major suppliers which i was responsible for such as GE-LCS Healthcare, STERIS, Stryker, Fujifilm, Ansell, SwissLog, PhysioControl, KLS Martin, Atmos, Erbe... and others.
Leading the sales team of Operating Rooms Solution in all regions to offer latest products from some of the most famous medical company brands such as STERIS, SHD modular solutions to customers to satisfy their quality conscious needs.
Regularly attending all marketing and sales events in different regional markets including Saudi Arabia; Central, Western & Eastern provinces to give presentations, conduct workshops, offer product demonstrations, and participate in all national and international conferences to avail all networking opportunities for expanding customer base and help the company grow its revenues.
Identifying, recruiting, and mentoring the right talent that can take on the challenges of marketing medical equipment with the willingness to increase its knowledgebase to compete other companies in the market.
Rightly identifying all customer market segments to drive product positioning functions while working on ways to penetrate new markets such as Modular ICU solutions.
Managing all marketing budgets while reducing all unnecessary sales costs to cut extra overheads to gain maximum efficiency from all marketing and advertising efforts.
As a Business Unit Manager for surgical solutions, I was responsible for:
• Remaining updated on all new developments in different hi-tech medical products including ESU, Argon Plasma, Water Jet units, Flexible Endoscopes, ADAM Documentation system, OR tables, Medical Furniture, surgical Instruments, and Medical OT Systems.
•Offering latest products from some of the most famous medical company brands like Erbe Electromedizine, Trilux Company, Fujinon (Fujifilm) Company, and Schmitz Company to customers to satisfy their quality conscious needs

• Won best sales performance award for MEA region from Erbe in 2012.
• Awarded with best marketing performance in MEA award by Fujifilm in 2011.
• Bestowed best performance award for medical equipment division in 2010.
• Exceeded sales targets for years 2012, 2009, 2008, 2007
• Captured big customer accounts closed for competitors including KFSH&RC, NGHA, and KKUH.
• Successfully established Fujifilm endoscopes after sales workshop in Riyadh.
• Built a dedicated yet successful sales team for the OR & GI product-lines.
Ensured that all present customers were satisfied with the medical equipment including dental (Biolase Company) & ophthalmology (Wavelight Company) laser machines purchased while offering them with after sales services and spare parts whenever required.
Designed marketing and sales campaigns for medical products as per the customers’ perceptions ensuring that all campaigns launched were able to successfully achieve their desired business development objectives.
Contributed in strategic marketing vision of the company by sharing all data of customers gathered in a meaningful way while also offering advice on managing future market and business development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Regularly participated in all presentations and live demonstrations to impart training to all customers about use of all new products, making sure they are able to make optimal use of all features offered.
Updated knowledge on regular basis for different types of medical equipment introduced in Ophthalmology laser units, ventilators, anesthesia machines to remain abreast of market trends and accordingly offer technology advanced medical equipment to customers.
Identified all medical equipments new markets by discussing their applications with physicians and engineers to help the company expand its customer base.
