Business Development Manager - Personal Protective Equipment’s
• Develop and manage a strategic plan for delivering sustainable profitable growth of the Personal Protective Equipment’s (PPE) business across The UAE.
• Carry out market analysis, opportunity assessment, prospecting, negotiation, closing new business opportunities, relationship management of new and current accounts, profitability analysis
• Interact with clients at senior level, engage, influence and manage various priorities within the clients business.
• Identify the changes in market needs and take proactive action by developing new, relevant, profitable products
• Review of market changes and adaptation of products to meet changes in market requirements and regulatory changes
• Work to develop products to maximise cross selling opportunities
• Understand market place and act on changes taking place in relation to competitor activity and regulatory changes, evaluating impact and providing recommendations on pricing strategy, marketing strategy, relationship structure/contractual changes.
• Establish and manage sales initiatives to achieve agreed growth targets
• Manage the internal resource to provide support during securing the business
• Respond and manage tenders.
Business Development Manager - ISO Certification & Training
• Responsible for achieving the annual/monthly sales targets for both certification and training.
• Handled various sectors including Government, Semi-government, Oil & Gas, Industrial Sector Banks and Financial institutes and Construction Companies.
• Responsible for all commercial tenders involving both certification and training services.
• Responsible for promoting and designing training programmes on various subjects including QMS ISO 9001, EMS ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 HACCP & IMS
• Participated in planning and delivering various GAP Analysis audits covering many Management Systems such as Quality, Environment, Health and Safety, HACCP & IMS.
• Responsible for developing certification/registration roadmaps for several organizations. This included the very early stage of scope definition up to the execution of the certification audit.
• Responsible for delivering various Technical/Commercial presentations to clients and business partners on various subjects.
• Responsible for assisting clients in developing various management systems implementation frameworks.
• Responsible for supporting the senior management in pro-actively developing, marketing and selling the portfolio of services resulting in new and incremental sales across all sectors of industry.
• Handled several training/certification projects and contracts for the National Transport Authority, ADWEA, GASCO, TAKREER, ADCO, ZADCO, ZONESCORP, ADTA, SEHA, Ministry of Interior and Abu Dhabi Police GHQ.
• Responsible for developing and deploying service/sector based sales and marketing plans and strategies for Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region.
MANAGE sales team in a professional manner, and make every effort to maximize both present and long term sales and gross profits.
SET OBJECTIVES. Then plan, organize, direct and control sales staff to meet these objectives, and maximize their potential.
At the beginning of each month, counsel with each salesperson to establish realistic sales objectives for the month and action plan.
Monitor each salesperson's daily performance and compare it with that month's objective. Salespeople who are on or above their forecasted objectives should be recognized for their achievement. Those who are not on a pace to meet their objectives should be given the help they need to get them back on target.
Understand departmental financial data to determine what is happening. Review financial data that affects department's profit centers.
SUPERVISE the sales. Make sure salespeople are doing everything they should be doing to successfully sell the products.
MAINTAIN company standards. This includes salesperson attendance, tracking, professional appearance and behavior.
INVOLVE myself in customer follow-up. Supervise the proper use of the Customer Log by each salesperson. Also review the Customer Log for trends that indicate where additional assistance might be needed.
CONDUCT sales meetings. To review the performance of salespeople and to motivate and stimulate them to even greater achievements.
PERFORM miscellaneous responsibilities. Many miscellaneous duties correspond to the efficient administration of the department.
Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance
Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by sales people.
Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Manage Product Marketing team and lead business development effort, engage customers to promote new technologies, develop future business opportunities, and understand customer requirements.
Lead Market Research to gain consumer insight and translate into new technology proposals.
Identify gaps in global product portfolio, develop product roadmaps.
Determine market potential and develop pricing strategy for products.
Engage customers as product expert to establish relationships and gain market insight
