Typical Duties:
• Directs the overall construction management, organization, and operations of all projects and related
construction activities for the division.
• Participates in division and corporate policy recommendations. Formulates construction management
(CM) policies, plans and programs from division and corporate policy.
• Reviews and approves data submitted by staff for business development proposals. Provides direct input
for proposals, strategic plans, presentations and contract negotiations. Participates in final pricing of
proposals by providing counsel and information pertaining to the CM aspects of the project.
• Represents the Company’s management when making presentations to potential clients, detailing
CM capabilities in connection with business development efforts.
• Develops and maintains client liaison for active projects, and acts in an advisory capacity to current
clients, maintaining close liaison by conferring on existing and/or potential services.
• Responsible for the quality of services provided by the CM organization in their relationship with other
divisions and departments, corporate organization, contractors and suppliers.
• Approves the selection of field Construction staff for all projects. Approves selection of other CM
support.
• Responsible for ensuring that project status and financial reports are provided on assigned projects, and
for initiation of any necessary corrective actions.
• Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects
on projects.
• Develop construction bid documents and negotiate contracts with contractors, subcontractors, and
suppliers.
• Assign discipline personnel to projects.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination on projects between all disciplines and parties.
• Resolve disputes and conflicts related to projects and Clients.
• Direct and/or participate in jobsite visits, Client meetings, and presentations.

Condo, office tower and commercial buildings. My responsibilities includes: The entire scope of work, project execution plan. Strategize with clients and professionals to achieve cost efficiencies through project design and execution. Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, on budget, in accordance with plans, specification, and quality standards, and performed safely. Ensure that project's documentation is completed, current, and appropriately managed. Tracks the progress of all items involved in the project.

Supervise and directs activities related to the management of projects from conception to hand-over, to
ensure that projects are completed on time to the required quality and to budget.
Responsibilities included but not be limited to: project oversight, scheduling, work performance quality, safety oversight, coordination effectiveness, and oversee all planning, subcontractors and design progress. Evaluate contracts, review specifications, manage change orders, meet daily with on-site contractors performing construction and attend construction meetings.
• Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Project to ensure that the assigned projects meet their
Objectives.
• Ensure the pre-project planning activities including feasibility study and project strategy definition are
performed correctly.
• Directs and supervises the implementation of projects including, verification of bidders lists, participation
in the preparation of Call for Tender documents consisting of terms of reference, scope of works, special
terms and conditions, payment terms and project master schedule (PMS).
• Control & Monitor design and construction activities.
• Ensures that all project contracts are awarded on time and are executed according to agreed schedule,
quality and cost. This includes presentations to Management.
• Monitors and control the financial expenditure throughout the project and review proposed changes in
order to optimize cost.
• Prepare Project Change/ Variation order and obtain necessary approvals.
• Closely supervises and monitors the work of the contractors in liaison with the Project team to ensure that
the project proceeds according to the contract and deal with any queries, problems and claims that might
arise.
• Maintains close liaison with users and other departments to ensure that all company procedures are
adhered to during Project planning/execution and for smooth hand-over of completed Projects.
• Supervise/review/prepare all final reports including as built drawings, material reconciliation, close out,
etc. relating to the assigned project.
• Prepare project close out report.
• Identify critical issues and areas of concern that may affect the project. Provide effective decisions to
ensure that risks to the project are properly managed.
JOB DUTIES
Caltrans construction projects district 1 & 4. Responsibilities Include the delivery of transportation engineering projects including transportation master plans, environmental assessments, detailed design and construction phase services also coordination of multidisciplinary project teams ( Transportation, Municipal and Structural engineers, Transportation Systems Planners, technical support staff, etc.).
Projects include the design of highways, streets, roads, freeways, bridges, utility facilities, and other projects related to transportation.
This experience also includes:
Ensuring that the design is technically acceptable.
Ensuring that the design process, related calculations, specifications were followed in accordance with the applicable procedures, related requirements and criteria.
Ensuring that the technical drawings have received the proper reviews and approvals.
Also supervising of contractor representatives and field engineers participating in construction of Caltrans projects as well as engineering review and approval of false work, shoring plans, retaining walls and safety reviews.
Roadway Improvements
The work includes, but is not limited to, widening of existing roads, realignment of the existing Street intersection, removals of existing pavement and construction of new asphalt paving, drainage improvements, furnishing and installing traffic signal equipment and electrical street lighting, a landscaped center median separating the traffic lanes, sidewalk, curb access ramps, driveways, signing and striping, utility relocations and modifications to the existing water and sewer systems, landscaping, and other related incidental work.
