I have been assigned to assist the team developing, designing and implementing the control system of Ames Research Center's green building water recycling system. This new system will reduce potable water consumption by more than 60 percent, compared to an equivalent-size building of conventional design. It was a great and prestigious opportunity to learn and exchange ideas and culture with a multidisciplinary, high-profile society of scientists, researchers, engineers and students. Implementing & operating the control system as designed was main gained experience.
A visit was hold to one of the offshore fields that belongs to ADMA-OPCO Company. It is called Zakum West Super Complex (ZWSC). This visit was hold over three days in order to see the power plant and its main components. During my visit, I gained the knowledge about the power plants operation & maintenance This visit was more practical & related to the industry field.
Engineering & Major Projects Department is a major department of ADCO Company. It is responsible of ADCO wells Developments and Projects, which runs a lot of Engineering majors whom work as a team.
Gained Experience:
1. Assisted the Senior Engineers who was conducting projects technically in the area.
2. Involved in the assessment of the vender list for some projects in ADCO Company.
3. Organized and maintained the Senior Partner's filing system and that helped me to have experience with administrative duties.
4. Wrote reports with other engineers that helped me to work as team with other engineers.
As an Electrical Engineer. Here are some related engineering projects that are done: 1. Summer 2011: Project with NASA about water recycling system, "Sustainability Base Graywater Recycling System" NASA Ames Research Center, United States, CA. 2. Fall 2010: Senior Design Project about Renewable Sources, Solar Energy, "Using the Solar Energy to light streets'' Sharjah University, Sharjah City. My team Scored an A grade in this project due its professional design & operation. 3. 2003 - 2011: Several Projects done on Electrical Engineering ex: Electronics, Circuits, Power Distributions, Power System Analysis, Power Electronics.Moreover, researches on different areas was done such as Economics, Business and Networking.
