STRATEGY
• Assist terminal to setup there Yearly annual Plan
• Ensure channels creation for Kaizens & quick wins.
• Drive change and coaching employees at all levels
• Spread 5S and Just time techniques in different terminals workshops and warehouses
OPERATIONS
• Follow up the Continuous improvement projects and cost cut out initiatives
• Follow and track the progress of yearly Annual operating plan with concerned departments
• Lead the TPM program implementation in the terminal
• Follow up all the CAPEX studies for new investments and new projects
• Lead the Automation and renovation projects
• Lead the statistics team to enable Analysed data to support terminal functions data-driven decision making
• Assist on Budgets estimation and follow up with concerned department
• Work closely with Finance Team to ensure Achieving the Annual operating plan
• Work closely with Technical team and lead the condition-based maintenance team
HEALTH SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL
• Enforcing safe working practices and promoting a safe workplace (Fatal-5 Program).
• Stored Energy Champion (responsible to reduce the associated risk factors all over the facility)
• Promotes the delivery of continuous improvement and constant drive towards incident-free operations.
• Ensures the development and adoption of best practices and ways of working
• Apply lean & six sigma techniques on all terminal different process
PEOPLE
• Coach and mentor Green belt projects
• Provide coaching to employees at all levels, including senior leaders and frontline team members
• Initiate Yellow belt training program for the blue-collar
• Work closely with unions and Blue collar and different stakeholders to build acceptance and buy-in for new APMT programs.
-Manage the maintenance process for terminal fleet (Trucks, fork lifts, heavy cranes, trailers)
-Manage all the TPM (Total Productive maintenance) implementation on the technical department
-Root Cause analysis for all Mechanical breakdowns
-Develop the Preventive maintenance program
-Control the inventory stock and reduce cost and apply just in time process
-Applying Condition base maintenance program
-Participate in selecting, sizing and commissioning for new equipment’s
-Revise and create the necessary risk assessments and SOP for the new jobs
Mechanical engineer Responsible for :
Monitor the maintenance process for terminal fleet( more than 250 equipment ex. Terminal Tractors, Reach stackers, Trailers, Empty handlers, Forklifts)
test and examine equipments after maintenance process
Apply TPM methodology in the terminal with all associated activities ( equipment inspection, , etc)
Prepare root couse analysis reports for the frequent breakdowns
Participate in achieving annual savings through engineering process excellence and Kaizens.
Lead a team of more than 30 technicians to do the necessary repairs
apply 5S procedures for the work shop
Prepare daily and monthly reports about the fleet equipments
Plan all the PM schedules for the terminal fleet
Participate in selecting, sizing and inspecting new equipments
Participate in creating new sop (system of procedures) for the workshop
Make spare parts requisitions and help in spare parts coding
Train new technician
-Follow up preparation for the cat products with workshop concern engineers.
-Inspect product (machines, generator, lift truck and used machine) prior to deliver to the customer.
-Make technical report about the delivered products.
-Prepare PM schedules for the sake of the customers
-Do on site visits to inspect the machines
-Handle all customer technical complaints and investigate their root cause
Responsible for
1-The Planning and scheduling for the base equipments PM
( Diesel Generators, earth moving machines)
2- Carrying, supervising this planes
3-Prepare the follow up reports for the base high command
The main focus of the study was the Mechanics of heat transfer equipments and Power plant optimization and sizing my graduation project was the optimization of Natural gas liquefaction plant
