 2010: Awarded a prize in the competition of the International Center for Journalists "on the Margins No More: Citizen Journalism Project", Egypt, in the period from Feb to Oct 2010.
 2004: A founding member with others for The Arab Science Journalists Association (ASJA): Science journalists in the Arab world have formed a new association that aims at enhancing the role of media in strengthening the science and technology system in the region. The Arab Science Journalists Association announced 13 Dec, 2006 its registration as a network under the umbrella of the Arab Science & Technology Foundation (ASTF) based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
 1995: Awarded the prize of "Abdulla Al Mubarak”, Prince of Kuwait, for simplification of science about the "Sun as a Source of Renewable Energy".
