Plan the maintenance schedule to ensure smooth functioning of all equipment with the optimum running cost and highest efficiency to deliver the targeted volume within the agreed budgeted limits.
• Participate in the preparation of fleet maintenance budget, submit budget recommendations, and monitor expenditures to achieve optimal maintenance cost.
• Establish a fleet management program including procurement, utilization, operation, repair, fueling, maintenance, and disposition of all vehicles and equipment’s to meet the supply chain objectives within allocated budgets:
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedule and procedures to keep the fleet and Plants in good working condition.
• Charring in to group to get the conformity certificate
• Inspect abnormal/complicated breakdown cases to identify mechanical defects, prepare detailed cost estimate and to take decisions regarding feasibility of major repairs.
• Identify and recommend procurement of equipment/vehicles/spare-parts based on the required specifications and by analyzing cost (value for money) and quality.
• Coordinate with other Departments to prepare and agree maintenance schedules and budgets to make optimum use of resources and minimize costs and downtime.
• Interview candidates and conduct skill tests for the selection of competent maintenance/workshop staff, drivers, and equipment operators to meet the current and future needs of the department.
• Ensure proper spare parts procurement in coordination with the Stores Supervisor and Purchasing Officer in line with the permitted stock level/budget.
II-Maintenance Manager.
• In charge for all maintenance facilities inside the group to implement the system for the whole equipment and facilities including purchase and store.
• Follow up the maintenance budget.
• Participate in strategic planning process in order to improve the implement - ability of the company’s plan.
• Ensuring that the company yearly objectives will properly distributed and implemented to the sub-managers for Plant & Yard.
• Establish a fleet management program including procurement, utilization, operation, repair, fuelling, maintenance and disposition of all vehicles and equipment to meet the production chain objectives within allocated turn over.
• Follow up the percentage of breakdown, idle and working time for equipment and make analysis for production wise purposes.
• Create system and software to improve the quality of work of the department
• Purchase, sell and hire equipment and submit budget recommendations with proper estimation and costing.
• Communicate with the suppliers/ vendors to get the best service & price with high quality of product with coordination of purchasing department.
• Handles 100 staffs including Engineer, Foreman, Mechanic, Admin & Purchasing Officer, Welder, Painter, and Fabricator & Heavy Drivers among others.
• Motivate and trained all the staff in order for them to be more productive and work effectively.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedule and procedures to keep the factories, fleet and Plants in good working condition.
• Ensure proper spare parts procurement in coordination with the Stores Supervisor and Purchasing Officer in line with the permitted stock level/budget.
• Follow up the maintenance budget.
