JOB TITLE: Staff Nurse in the CCU
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Assess, Plans, Implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with facility and departmental policies and in accordance with DAFH standards. The CCU nurse utilizes special knowledge, judgments, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care provide care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of the assigned patients.
SPECIFIC DESCRIPTION:
1. Provides safe tharapeutic nursing care to patients within the intensive care unit at DAFH facility.
2. Provides holistic nursing care, performing nursing procedures and related duties in a skillful, expedient and compassinate manner.
3. Functions as a member of the nursing and interdisciplinary health care team.
NURSING PATIENT/PATIENT CARE:
*Plans and provides holistic nursing care to he patients according to the individual patient's therapeutic plan of care
*Integrates theoretical nursing knowledge into nursing practice
*Recognizes own limitation in knowledge and skill competencies and seeks Consultation as indicated
*Adheres to DAF nursing procedures in the delivery of nursing care
*Maintains patient's advocate
*Ensures the patient (or if patient's condition prevents, the next kin) gives informed Consent for all treatment and procedures
*Recognizes the right of all patients to equal care regardless of their race, nationality or religion
*promotes and provides health education, self care skills to patients and family as indicated

- Responsible in preparing and giving medications.
- Assessed, planned, implemented, and evaluated.
- Give comprehensive nursing care to patients to prevent complications.
- Assisted different case in operating room such as (ORIF, CS, APPENDICITIS, etc)
