Main Responsibilities
( • ) Performed Project Management from conceptualization to closure of projects, which includes;
- Identify scope, budget, stakeholders, and risks and obtain client (Government Organization) and leadership acceptance for the project.
- Prepare WBS, resource requirement, project schedule, training & maintenance for Project Plan.
- Manage procurements according to World Bank and GoSL guidelines from, preparing EOI, TOR, RFP and evaluation & selection of vendors. Conduct initiation meeting and manage expectation of the stakeholders.
- Maintain dashboard, review goals, manage scope, manage stakeholder relationship & communication, manage risk, perform contract management and check deliverable quality.
- Obtain signoff from clients, issue payments to vendors, record closure report and archive documents.
( • ) Manage internal and external resources (Project Mangers of vendors)
( • ) Monitor Joomla CMS training programs for government officers.
( • ) Editor, Organizer and Caretaker in setting up Government Web Standards of GoSL which is a key sub document of eGovernment policy of Sri Lanka

Achievements
( • ) Project Manager for developing 495 websites and 178 electronic services by closely working with Senior Government Officials (more than 100 government organizations), Web development Companies (vendors), Policy Makers, Technology Experts, SME’s, etc. This is great achievement which was also commended by World Bank representatives and also helped Sri Lanka to move 41 places (115 to 74) from 2012 to 2014 in UN eGovernment Development Index.
( • ) Managed 17 main projects within the 3.5 years (out of 5 years of the programme) which is valued close to USD XXXXX
( • ) Publishing of Government web standards version 2.0.
( • ) Served as a Technical Evaluation Committee (TEC) member for more than 25 projects related to GoSL.
( • ) Obtained the Certificate of Appreciation by the Grand Jury in eSwabhimani 2011 (National Best eContent Awards) for HealthNet project which was a project under my purview.
