Professional Experience At Newmont Ghana Gold Ltd (NGGL)
The mine is a 1200 t/h capacity open pit oxide mine located in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. Processing of GOLD is mainly by C.I.L and In-Line Leach (Acacia) Reactor systems. Gold recovery is by Electro-winning.
Position: Senior Production Metallurgist/Tailings Management Engineer (Nov, 2008- April, 2010)
Responsibilities: ➢ Initiating and implementing new projects on the processing plant.
➢ Monitoring operating parameters on the plant and advice plant supervisor accordingly.
➢ Ensuring that critical stock inventory are maintained by the store dept.
➢ Coaching and training the plant operators in proper analytical methods.
➢ Optimization of the gravity circuit and the intense cyanidation reactors (Acacia Reactor)

June 2003 - January 2006 AngloGold-Ashanti (Iduapriem Mines - Ghana)
Position: Shift Supervisor/Trainer (Secondment from the Obuasi Mine) (June 2003 - Jan, 2006)
Responsibilities: ➢ Commissioning metallurgist during the commissioning of the upgraded process plant.
➢ Writing of Written Safe Working Procedure for the upgraded plant
➢ Supervising the smooth and efficient running of the entire plant (Elution, CIL/CIP, SAG and Ball mills, Gravity and In-Line-Leach Circuit and Crusher)
➢ Training Control Room and Plant Operators.
➢ Preparing and submitting shift report to the plant superintendent.

Professional Experience At The AngloGold Ashanti (Obuasi Mines)
The Obuasi mine operates a sulphide underground mining system and it is located in the Ashanti region of Ghana. The processing plant (a Sulphide Treatment Plant) has a throughput of 350TPH.Gold is mainly recovered by Flotation, Bacterial Oxidation (BIOX) and a two (2) C.I.L. systems (Flotation Tails and Biox Concentrate CILs) . It also has two (2) In-Line Leach Reactors within the process stream and recovery of Gold is finally by electrowining.
Position: Supervisor -Crushing, Milling and Flotation (CMF) (August 2002 - June, 2003)
Responsibilities: ➢ Crushing: a 600tph jaw crushing plant
➢ Milling: a 350tph Morgardshammer SAG and Ball Mills and cluster of cyclones
➢ Flotation: A two (2) Flash flotation cells, two (2) Rougher tank cells, Cleaner cells, A set of Scavenger cells, A regrind mill and other auxiliary equipments.
➢ Three (3) 48'' diameter Gravity Concentrators and an In- Line Leach Reactor.
➢ Ensuring that there were continuous checks on mill liners and advising the superintendent on the due dates for change out.
➢ Ensuring reagent strength and dosing rates were set to enhance flotation recovery.

Professional Experience at Golden Star Resources Ltd - Bogoso Mines (Ghana)
The mine, which now operates the largest Bacterial Oxidation Plant in the world, is located at Bogoso in the south-western corner of Ghana about 30 minute drive to the north of Tarkwa a popular mining town. Gold processing is mainly by froth flotation followed by bacterial oxidation of the sulphide concentrate and then intense cyanidation of the oxidized concentrate at the CIL plant and electrowining of gold.
