Supervision of site QA/QC Department, monitoring of inspection personnel, Liaison with clients and suppliers, compilation of QA/QC documentation, review of technical data packages. Review subcontractor’s quality plan and procedures including inspection and test plan. Coordinate with the company various departments such as: materials & procurement, safety, project control and engineering. Prepare the inspection two weeks look ahead schedule and procured materials inspection two week look ahead schedule. Prepare and submit monthly management reports to client. Review of IFC drawings and submit clarification if there are deviation to the standard requirements and during construction stage. Review the materials and equipment being procured and approve upon compliance.
Painting Inspection: Preparatory inspection and surveillance of painting procedures on metallic structures such as pipes, valves, ancillary piping, platforms and concrete surfaces during various stages of fabrication and installation. Conversant with the relevant Saudi Aramco engineering standards for painting and coating. Practical duties include selection of painting system, witness surface preparation, cleaning down, priming, paint application, coating of field joints and testing. Proficient in paint material inspection, assessing substrate condition, in process inspection and testing; quality control reporting and as built documentation. Familiar with various destructive & non-destructive inspection methods and field safety requirement.
Civil Inspection: Well-acquainted with relevant Saudi Aramco engineering standards, ACI, ASTM and AASHTO codes. Area of activity include supervision of batch plant operations, in process inspection and co-ordination, witness testing of construction of concrete structures, asphalt paving, backfilling, compaction and grading works. Familiar with concrete and asphalt mix proportioning and batching processes and various laboratory testing.
