--- For 3 summers I have worked for the company helping out at the arcades.
--- My roles included managing staff members, dealing with customer issues and queries, along with leafleting. From this experience I learnt how to handle a variety of situations in different environments.
Summer 2011 & 2012 - Aesthetics Promotional Agency (Paid)
--- This summer I worked at the NGA venue for the whole Olympics. During these last two years I worked at various corporate events hosting within the suite level at the NGA and restaurants at Oval Cricket
Ground. This gave me experience in dealing with the public and problems associated with it.
--- I had to communicate and liaise with the corporate manager to certify that all was on schedule. I had
responsibility in ensuring that the event ran through smoothly from start to finish.
Summer 2012 - PVM Smart Learning: Professional Trader Training Course
--- The PVM Smart Learning course I attended this summer was a great experience. A 5-day residential
course hosted by former traders creating an intense and pressurised environment whilst completing
realistic Trading simulations. I learnt a lot from this experience and it helped applying theory learnt in the classroom to real life applications of the pressured simulations.
University Of Bath - Civil Engineering (2010 - Present) Civil Engineering MEng (Hons) (expected 2:1) --- Relevant Modules: I have taken various modules, which coincide with Trading and provide a bridge between the two fields of work include: Maths, Structures, Structures design and construction, Civil Engineering Management, Surveying and Computer Applications (Cad, Excel & MATLAB) --- These modules provide a strong numerical backbone to the course. Data analysis, problem solving, risk management and teamwork are key in all aspects of design as well as in Trading.
