Roles and Responsibilities :
* Implementing, Configuring and Managing the Security devices - Cisco ASA/PIX, Fortigate, and Cisco Routers and
Switches.
* Configuration, Maintenance & Troubleshooting of Cisco 3800, 3600, 2800 and 1800 series routers.
* Configuration, Maintenance & Troubleshooting of Cisco 4500, 3560, 2960, 2950 series switches.
* Configuring and managing - VLAN, VTP, STP, HA, HSRP, ACL, NAT and VPN’s.
* Responsible for managing IP address, port numbers, security policies in network zones.
* Logging Change request for significant changes in the network domain and getting approval through Change
Advisory Board to implement them.
* Monitoring the network performances using create, update and modify network Visio diagrams and related
documents, including cable mapping, rack elevation, IP address allocation and switch port assignments.
* Documentation: Visio diagrams (low and high levels), CMDB updates. To name some - Master Inventory spreadsheet
and Firewall request form etc.
* Involved in troubleshooting issues on the communication devices and making firewall changes to provide access to the
DMZ servers on demand basis through the ticketing system.
* Providing on-call support and standby cover for incidents/changes/maintenance activities affecting IT and business
services
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Configuration, Maintenance & Troubleshooting of Cisco 3800, 3600, 2800 and 1800 series routers.
* Configuration, Maintenance & Troubleshooting of Cisco 4500, 3560, 2960, 2950 series switches.
* Technical Support for fault diagnosis, analysis & rectification of LAN & WAN networks.
* As part of day-to-day operations, includes assistance and management of datacenters, cable
management, elevation and document network changes in both corporate and client infrastructure.
* Deploying packet filtering using Standard and Extended ACL.
* Configuring NAT and VPN. Upgrade/Downgrade Cisco IOS Image files using TFTP server.
* Recommended various change management proactively to enhance the network performance for the customers thereby
gaining further knowledge on Change Request
