Translating- Editing- Proof reading-Consecutive Interpreting- Linguistic Checks- Promoting the Company translation services- Testing and hiring translators- Assigning free lance translators (if and when needed)- Training of translators-Evaluating translators’ performance- Evaluating data entry operators’ performance- Keeping track of the high quality standard of the translated and typed material-Supporting daily requirements of translators and data entry operators- Follow up the maintenance of computers, scanners, printers and photocopy machines- Supporting the daily requirements of the translators and other operators - Keeping track of the different job requests and assuring professional quality standards and deadlines are always and strictly met- Utilizing the Internet for search of new terminology and translation support engines- Team leading group translations upon handling large translation projects- Handling all the Translation Department’ personnel, managerial and financial matters.
As Manager of the Translation Department, I was also responsible for the (English and Arabic) translation of all the chairman's speeches and press releases.
