o Leading and managing fieldwork on clients sites including liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth delivery of the Audit process

Working as Manager Assurance in the Audit and Assurance Group, my key responsibilities includes:
Guiding large teams through planning, execution and completion stages of audit;
Engagement planning based on understanding of the entity and assessment of business and related audit risks;
Coordination with team to define the extent of planned audit procedures and to update on progress of the engagement;
Supervision, review and finalization of assurance engagements and special assignments;
Liaison with client's management and communication of relevant matters to persons at appropriate level of responsibility;
Consultation on significant matters with various professionals such as lawyers, tax advisors, actuaries and IT experts;
Assisting clients in preparation of financial statements in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework including compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), local corporate laws and directives of regulatory authorities.
The experience of the firm has enabled me to develop an understanding of regulatory environment of diversified sectors, key business processes, the accounting and internal control systems of several organizations.
