1) Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products: Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields
2) Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
3) test products to determine how long they will last, what part may break down first and how to improve product durability
4) Directs workers engaged in measuring and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
5) Handle complaints analytical through root case analysis, corrective action and final closure to prevent the re-occurrence of the problem.
6) Prepare and maintain all CE mark required documentation.
7)follow up with Jordan Standards and Metrology Organization to check any update in standards and regulations and any agreements and thus improve the documentation.
8) Training the staff on the tests that are made in the laboratory.
