EXPORTAL MOFA / SAUDI CUSTOMS Private Partnership Program
The Saudi Customs, in collaboration with the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has founded an
eServices based Portal, namely “Exportal.com”, as an eTransformation Initiative, within the Saudi
Customs, as related to the Saudi Kingdom Vision 2030 program. Exportal initiative would enable
exporters to pass-through data containing their exporting documents, directly to Saudi Customs, via
the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Yesser (GSN) Network, before the arrival of the exporter’s
goods to the designated Saudi ports; allowing for instant, authentic and secured electronic data
submittal to Saudi Customs.
Within my role as a Program Operations Manager, titled as Exportal Program e-Services Manager,
I acted as the Liaison Officer with the client - namely Saudi Customs, as well as an e-Transformation
Consultant to the PPP Developer - namely Naseej; taking full ownership of the program initiation,
customer services, program development, program launch & rollout and its associated daily operation.
I took full ownership of the program's design reviews, overseeing the program launch and operations;
with all its associated details, including the Technical Analysis & Design, Business Process re-
Engineering, Applications Development Architecture, User Interface Design & Usability Testing, as
well as all related Web-services and Cloud-Hosted Applications launch and daily e-Services program
operation.
* Responsible for arranging and coordinating initiative related communications, and negotiation
with third party partners, as related to the deployed Exportal e-Services.
* Responsible for analyzing and reviewing actual service performance, against SLAs & OLAs, for
service areas under scope.
* As a PMO e-Services manager, responsible for the program’s implementation, as well as its
services deployment worldwide, while ensuring the program’s execution within the agreed-on
level of Services and Operations Level Agreements (SLA/OLA).
* Responsible for coordinating with Saudi Customs Exportal team, while supervising third party
outsourced work scope, along with their deployed resources, for the accurate and timely provision
of the agreed-on development and operations.
* Responsible for updating Saudi Customs Exportal team, with the program’s development and
operational status, updating the associated PMO Dashboards, against agreed-on operational and
business KPIs.
* Responsible for actively identifying and developing, with Saudi Customs management team, new
