- As a PME lead to Shell Program, attending bi-weekly meetings with program manager on workload and new projects, defining PME scope and deliverables, Planning & Managing all PME deliverable and ensuring project adhere to Shell’s specifications i.e. DEP & SPEs.
- Guiding and assisting PME team for technical specifications, material takeoffs, and design calculations. Providing technical trainings on design / calculation software and tools such as JMMS, EDB, and PCC. Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of cost estimates, quantity take-offs and staffing requirements for proposals, forecasts and change orders.
- Reviewing piping design criteria, material specifications for engineering integrity, and developing design documents method statements for the project.
- Executes and verifies calculations (wall thickness, branch reinforcement, vacuum, specialty line blanks, etc) Reviews Vendor Quotations for Technical Acceptability and completes Technical Bid Evaluations for all piping, valve & specialty items.
- Issues and maintains piping and valve material specifications utilizing SmartPlant Reference Data. Development of component commodity codes for company and project specific databases based on industry standards, manufacturer specific construction and corporate coding structure.
- Possesses analytical skills and is adept at utilizing good decision making tool; high level of data analysis skills Excellent time management skills with proven ability to work accurately. Simultaneously managing the diverse range of functions with clear direction and decisive decision making. Coordinating with Client, PMC & Overseas Offices regarding all PME deliverables. Fine exposure in holding techno commercial meetings with national & international vendors of repute. Achievements
- Successfully leading various projects for Shell Dutch Refinery in Netherlands with major engineering value addition. Implemented big axial flow check valves to reduce water hammer effect for Saudi Maaden. Successfully specified and used a compact steam trap assembly against conventional. This results in substantial reduction in cost, time & construction activity.
- Significant value addition to the RSPL project due to classification and preparation of special classes for FRP vacuum lines. Correct validation of critical & high temperature turbine lines for RSPL project along with BHEL. Hot tap calculations.
Reviewing isometrics, GA, Equipment drawings, vendor drawings, support drawings, material specifications, MTO.
Studying and approving work packages with all technical documentations (Isometrics, marked P&ID, technical specifications, material test certificated, heat chart, welding summary, instruments calibration & validation certificates)and method statement as per project specification for work permits approval, field testing, mechanical completion certificate (MCC).
A team leader and responsible of project execution, construction, inspection and commissioning.
Taking follow-up on as built drawings, on-site modifications, redesign solutions for field problems such as clashing, mismatch, lack of materials in conformance with project requirement, design parameters, codes & industry practice.
Liaison with client for technical queries or comments regarding specs, drawings, work packages and project hold-ups.
Interaction with execution team, field engineers for resolving on site issues & providing better engineering solutions as per code guidance & specifications.
Reviewing equipment GA, nozzle orientation drawing, piping system & equipment drawing, P& ID, considering equipment spacing, accessibility, operation & maintenance.
Preparation of spread sheet regarding material calculation, project planning & forecasting.
Reviewing Vendor drawing of valves, pumps, motors, filters, seals & connecting equipments.
Preparation of technical datasheet, Specification of valve, pipes, motor, pumps in accordance with international codes and standards. Ensure timely delivery of technically critical materials.
Producing technical documentation required for field testing including hydro test, mechanical completion certificated (MCC), witnessing tests including Hydro, dye penetration (DP), ultrasonic test (UT), magnetic particle test (MPT).
Project Execution, Estimation& Bid Analysis and covering all engineering phase from basic, detail, construction, commissioning & equipment inspection according to International codes &Standard such as ASME, API& as per client requirement.

4 years Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Post Graduate diploma in Piping Engineering.
