Acting HSE Area Manager - Responsible for coordination of all HSE activities within the Project Area.
Conduct safety orientation to maintain safety awareness among the employees.
Conduct daily and weekly safety toolbox meetings.
Train and educate workers in On the Job oriented Safety Requirements.
Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance to work permits, PPE, housekeeping and other general safety requirements and report all safety violations/non-compliance for corrective action.
Maintain required record keeping system and provide adequate documentation on occupational monitoring activities.
Ensure safety of men, materials, equipment and healthy environment and maintain safe working conditions on site
Attend safety meetings held by project management where safety is the main agenda.
Take part in client driven safety walk-throughs/audits.
Conduct regular inspections of fire protection equipment to assure its proper placement and operational reliability.
Monitoring critical activities in chemical areas and provide guidance for safe execution of the task.
Monitor lifting activities to ensure compliance to the lift plan.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to the project.
Conduct daily inspection and ensure all workers are wearing the prescribed personal protective equipment (PPE).
Conduct daily and weekly safety toolbox meetings at site to remind about safety rules and regulation at job site.
Conduct safety activities, orientation and training to concerned employees such as first aid, health hazards and fire prevention.
Ensure safety of men, materials, equipment and healthy environment and maintain the safe working condition on site.
Review the safe work procedures and advice the personal for adherence.
Conduct special audits on work permits, confined space, scaffolding and etc.
Maintain the certifications of the personal executing, rigging, scaffolding, entry attendants, equipment operators and etc.
