Responsible for Engineering and Maintenance Department at QAIA - Amman. QAIA is the
largest airport in Jordan with annual capacity of 12M passengers. The airport consists of a
terminal building and two airfields that can accommodate up to code F - aircraft. Responsible
for E&M team of 180 employees and assets of $1billion. Key contribution and knowledge;
* E&M team is the largest team at QAIA with a head count of 180 and 50 contractors.
Attending of performance excellence of department employees and contribution to
business outstanding achievements.
* Ensure safe and healthy environment for employee to excel. Yearly saving of JD600K
in utilities consumption and spare parts. PM completion >95%
* Sound contribution towards quality awards - ASQ from years 2017 onwards as best
airport in the region (5-15Million Passengers per year)
* Knowledge of airport security system; CCTV, X-ray, MVT, PIAX, ETD, walk through
machines.
* Operate and maintain Baggage Handling System of a capacity of 2000Bag/hour -
security Level 4.
* Travel experience systems - HVAC, Bathrooms, Rest areas, Passengers Boarding
Bridges, Automatic Doors, Escalators, travellators and elevators.
* Fire alarm and Fire protection systems including 7 fire pumps and pipe network of
5KM.
* Airfield Lighting / Instrumentation systems and related controls(RWY and TWY lights).

* Utilities management - Electrical system (132KVA - 400VA), water supply and
distribution network from local wells (10KM pipe length and three main storage tanks),
14 chillers and 7 boilers.
* Environment Sustainability through annual reduction on electrical consumption, Water
treatment plant, Wastewater treatment plant and initiatives of solar farms.
* Documentation, as built drawings, CMMS and work permits for all assets in QAIA.
* Maintain relations with stake holders - PMU at Ministry of transport, Civil Aviation
Regulatory Commission, Civil defence, RJ - Ground Handlers and NEPCO
* Managing annual contracts of JOD2.5Million with clear SLA and spare parts
procurement of JOD1.0Million.
* Providing workshop services for more than 70 pickups, cars, tractors, sweepers,
ambulances, RIVs and AFFR
Leading and managing a chemical and fertilizer plant at Abyad site, 140 Km southern of
Amman. The site is made of plants for TSP, SOP, CaCl2, PA and SA. Site total employees are
of 400. Achievements and contributions were as follow;
* Safe and clean environment to employee and neighbouring communities. We were able
to pass all audits with 90% completion of related action plans.
* Restore site original conditions by implementing preventive maintenance and
management of change.
* Improve productivity and reliability by deploying operational excellence standards and
lean manufacturing. Record production in SOP, TSP, PA and SA plants.

This is an initiative funded by local pharmaceuticals companies and EU to establish an
institute-training center, to graduate technicians qualified to assume responsibilities
immediately in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. My responsibility was for leading the
project to deliver Building design & construction. Select, purchase, install & Commission of
machines' (Shear mixers, FBD, Coating, Tablet Pressing, Capsulation & Blistering). Also to
develop all related curriculum for process manufacturing, Asset & Maintenance systems, QMS,
HS&E and good warehousing management. Sound Experience with NGOs, EU and USAID
funding. Buildings were completed and all related machinery, educational logistics were
purchased and curriculum outline were submitted to EU to select a consultant to develop.
Project was on hold due to lack of funding.
Responsible for the technical side of M&A, capital and asset management.
