Main Duties:
1- Branch Operations Manager:
• Controls the services, operations & administrations of the branch so as to maximize efficiency & productivity & to consistently provide a high standard of customer service in line with strategic & operating objectives in accordance with HSBC standards & procedures.

• Plans, directs, & controls the cash area, cash in ATM in order to achieve maximum contribution to the profitable growth of the bank.

• Safeguards the bank from potential loss.

• Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal & external audit points.

• Controls the security of the financial & physical assets of the branch.

• Responsible for the cash in treasury under dual control with the Chief Cashier & acts as backup ATM custodian.

• Replaces the Branch Manager in his absence.


2- Branch Money Laundering Control Officer (BMLCO):
• Implementation of the Group Compliance Policy by applying all HSBC money laundering procedures & ensuring customers compliance with all related requirements.

• Reporting of suspicious transactions to Compliance Department.

• Improves Money Laundering & Compliance awareness among branch staff & supports management for effective delivery of Money Laundering message by conducting quarterly training & attending quarterly seminars & updating training materials & developing Money Laundering & Compliance culture among all branch staff.

• Responsible for effectively managing the alerts in the Customers Activity Monitoring Program (CAMP) guided by the requirements set for my position by Compliance Department.
