Directly reports to the Managing Director and ensures that management is well informed of the business operation particularly on major decisions required to meet the company’s goal.
•Prepares policies and procedures to ensure the company’s direction is set in accordance to the managements’direction and prevent possible occurrence of loss.
•Manages the operation to ensure the company would consistently meet and exceed all its targets on both Financial and operational aspects.
•Holds a weekly employee meeting to give information, take feedback, address concerns and provide necessary trainings to enhance the teams’ performance.
•Handles any other concerns of the company as directed and deemed fit.
Management Accountant
•Handles the overall accounting structure of the company, from recording, reconciling and summarizing all transaction to Financial Reports generation.
•Initialized the set-up and use of the Peach Tree accounting system for better recording, job costing and reporting.
•Analyses the Financial Statements such as the Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss and Cash Flow Statement to ensure these are fairly stated.
•Prepares the Cash Projection and the Budget to ensure the company’s assets and resources are rightfully used to grow the business.
•Report to Management the Financial Results of the operation.
Accomplishments
•Is a Pioneer team member of the company’s branch here in Qatar and of which the majority of the processes in-placed has been set-up and done by me.
•Managed to open a new yard and was awarded the DSWMC (Ministry on Interior Contract).
•Implemented the proper and accurate accounting of payables to ensure no double payment is made.
•Has been tasked to manage one of the Recycling facilities here in Qatar which handles the recycle of plastics and non-ferrous mostly aluminum. We ensure recycled materials are classified accordingly, collections are methodically done and production is efficiently carried out to save on cost.
Handled the Accounting, Audit and Administrative duties of the three (3) existing branches of the company.
•Implemented the systems and control procedures to manage the sales and inventory of the branches.
•Managed the Receivables, Payables, and the Bank Reconciliations to ensure the company’s assets are well maintained.
•Properly aged the Accounts Receivable and the Accounts Payable to ensure the Cash Flow requirements of the company is met.
•Audited the Sales Invoices, Purchase Orders, Delivery Orders, and the Inventory of the company’s showrooms to maintain control and to avoid discrepancies to arise.
•Handled the maintenance and monitoring of the company’s inventory to prevent theft and possible occurrence of loss.
•Prepares Financial Reports for Management’s use.
