Posted as HSE Manager for Contractor - Dongah Geological Engineering Co. Ltd, South Koria, having Micro Tunneling Project. Under ground piping, approx. 15 meter deep, horizontal piping using Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) of 1.8 meter Dia.
Managing various HSE related activities. Co ordination with Main Contractor and Client HSE Department. Implementation of various HSE procedures plans and policies.
Responsibilities include organizing, coordinating and executing all the safety activities in the company and of all the projects allocated.
Job includes Safety Supervision, Inspection, Audits, Safety Training, preparing the project safety plans, Risk assessment, etc.
Fully involved in the development and implementation of Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) and Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001) in the company. The systems were audited and certified by Lloyd’s Register during October 2002.
Currently working as Safety Officer at BAPCO - Awali Services Department.
