Presently Involved in leading R&D effort in cybersecurity, tactical networks (Wi-Fi mesh networks and SDN/NFV, exploiting
virtualization for High-Performance Computing. Power-aware Operating system. Containerisation for HPC using singularity
coupled with checkpointing and restart for power-aware cluster management.
Filed four preliminary patent applications in the area of wireless sensors, Internet of things, and expect to file two more in the
combined field of wireless sensors and image processing. Presently exploring SDN development platform and SDN traffic
engineering. One proposal has been submitted. Exploring Wi-Fi security-related patent opportunity. Also exploring
containerization with the open stack. Helping a Ph.D. student in live cloud forensics. Another student in trust management
for IOT.
Presently also co-guide for 7-8 M.Tech students for their dissertation work in 802.11 security, high-speed malicious traffic
generation, and email data mining to generate relationship graphs and spam detection doctorate(Ph.D.) Ph.D. from IIIBSR(west
coast university)North California state university in the strategy area. (i.e., strategic management of technological innovation
and HR with PMO). also enrolled for doctorate(Ph.D.) program (2015-16), department of technology, University of
Pune(Computers and Information Technology).
As part of Ph.D. coursework, doing a special project in mobile base telemedicine app for the rural area where basic diagnostic,
heartbeat, ECG, etc. can be collected and stored in HER/EMR in a server. The doctor can fetch the record and review them.
Also did a course on mathematical modeling and MPI. Explored eE-Gov processes for RPA, RPA based process reenginering,
cyber security for IOT, 5G, edge computing ith edge cloudlets, cloud orchestration for job worload migration using containers
for HPC, 5G, DN based Intrusion detection prediction and prevention. Exploring cyber security researh especially
augmetation with ML/AI, additionally /R&D into cyber killchain frameworks with Master’s dissertation, to be evolved into a
full dledged project.
