-All translation, editing, proofreading, typing, research services.
- Legalization of all documents.
- Lead the translation of external and internal materials, including technical documents, proposals, marketing materials, newsletters, etc., from and into Arabic, English and French.
- Ensure high quality proofreading and editing of final translated documents.
- Carry out and lead QA/QC procedures.
- Create glossaries and terminology base throughout the translation process.
-Creating timelines and workflows customized to each project's specific content type, volume, languages and file formats
- Regular communication with customers and translation teams regarding project details and deadlines
- Managing QA processes to ensure on-time and polished deliverables
- Documenting processes and regularly suggesting improvements for future iterations
- Supports the sales team through developing effective project delivery solutions / proposals including quotas
- Completes project risk analysis and defines mitigation actions of the risks identified
- Creates project plans and schedules based on client-specific requirements; applies appropriate contingencies in planning and resourcing
- Allocates required project resources (people, tools, hardware, software, partners, etc.)
- Regularly monitors client satisfaction and takes improvement actions when necessary
- Creates and controls project budgets, performs costs tracking, issues vendor purchase orders and client invoices, and approves work reports
- In line with project plans: organizes, assigns, measures and monitors his/her project team members; ensures team's performance compliance with standards, practices, and policies
- Ensuring all finance systems data is accurate and kept up-to-date
- Risk assessment and strategic planning of activities to minimize potential issues
- Providing a regular status to client on project progress
- Operating with medium level of support, including recognizing and escalating in a timely manner any issues beyond their control
-Translate agreements and communications from English to Arabic.
- Directly assisting CEO in all administrative tasks.
-Translate documents from Arabic to English and vice versa, as required.
-Proofread, edit, and revise translated materials.
-Revise documents for the field (activities materials), for the Headquarters, and for the donors.
-Assist in the production of PowerPoint presentations, posters, tables, graphs, and visual aids.
-Check the translation of technical terms and terminology to ensure that they are accurate and remain consistent throughout the translation, and update in-house lexicons and editorial lines as required.
Provide consecutive translation during meetings, trainings, etc. as required.
-Perform various assigned duties to balance workload.
-Remain updated on local and regional events and issues, particularly in relation to project activities.
-Be a source of information upon request, e.g. the official terminology used in Beirut, formal titles of institutions and officials locally and internationally, etc.
- Register and treat information (general and specific) accurately and with confidentiality.
