Planning, scheduling,
monitoring, claims, variations, estimation & cost controlling.
Project Planning & monitoring:
- Preparing master programme from the high level information & major milestone set out in the contract/project charter.
- Creating Work Breakdown Structure, Project Summary Schedule, Project Control Schedule and Construction Schedule.
- Sequencing the activities thereafter estimating resources and duration required for each activity in line with project
requirement.
- Preparing Schedule compression by identifying the schedule constraints and performing resource leveling assessment.
- Process requests for variation, addendum, extension of time, etc., in accordance with established procedures and exercises
contract cost control.
- Studies claims and disputes and recommend desire course of action to Head of Contracts Control & Change control board.
Cost Management:
- Tracking all the abnormal costs/ wastage, preparing comparative statements, and recommending measures to avoid them.
- Generating periodic Status & Cost reports for apprising management of project progress.
- Comparing JCA with actual project management cost and various expenses in coordination with management
representatives.
- Reviewing and analyzing (sub) contract financial data for facilitating Project Manager / Project Director of various
Planning:
- Preparation of schedule baseline & monitoring the actual progress against the baseline schedule.
- Preparation of time extension Claims based on the original base contract and changes occurred in original scope.
- Monitoring the deliverables as per the programme & identifying the schedule variance & cost variance.
- Drafting the claims for delays suffered due to various reasons through different templates as agreed with the client.
- Performing schedule compression demanded by client & claiming for the acceleration cost to Engineer / Client.
- Monitoring the progress of construction and comparing with the planned program using Project Controlling Sheets.
- Responsible for project cost controlling by processing cost controlling reports, relating the cost incurred with the standards.
Analyzing the reasons for variances by:
Measuring cost performance by labor, equipment & material productive control.
Preparing reports for Clients /Senior Managers on project progress, including earned value analysis.
Planning:
- Preparation of baseline schedule and monitoring it throughout the project with the actual deliverables.
- Highlighting & coordinating the critical procurement issues with procurement department to achieve the major deliverable in
time.
- Preparation of time extension Claims based on the original agreed scope of work.
- Perform schedule variance & cost variance assessment by identifying the deliverables progress and constraints.
- Performing resource leveling assessment and modification of programme as required.
- Preparation of the Acceleration Programme/schedule compression & claiming additional incurred cost for acceleration to the
Client.
- Monitoring the progress of construction and comparing with the planned program using Project Controlling Sheets & bar
charts easily understood by site people
Masters Degree in Project Engineering & Management (PGDPEM) from National Institute of Construction Management & Research, Pune in 2008 Research: Feasibility Study & effectiveness of Tri-generation System.
Research: Effectiveness of interconnected power system India. Major: Energy Audit in Shetkari Sahakari Soot Girni Industry Nagpur.
