• Planned, scheduled, successfully handled and accomplished various type of Sea & Air Freight, Land
shipments such as General, Projects, Event and Exhibition cargo, Repair and return cargo, Transit,
Temporary imports project cargo, Reefer Cargo and Medical Items, Diplomatic cargo, Personal
Cargo, Sea Charter, Military & Ammunition Cargo, Industrial, infrastructure projects, Power, Gas,
Petrochemical, Refinery. Perform and implement all custom clearance activities such as following
upcoming Shipment, Pre Alerts, Register in to system, study and guide on the clearance, import,
export requirements, documentation and authority approvals, Coordinate with Clearing Agents to
draft initial customs bayan/declaration, make sure proper customs tariff, duty exemption applied,
imports - export permits, ministry approvals are obtained in coordination with customer.
• Complete job files, billing based on quote/contract and dispatch invoices daily, weekly basis. Error
free billing, cost control, revenue generation.
Planned, scheduled, successfully handled Imports, Exports Freight Operation as well as
accomplished the Customs Clearance formalities on various type of shipments such as Transit
Cargo, Direct Delivery Cargo, Military, Ammunition Cargo, Event and Exhibition cargo, Repair and
return cargo, Temporary imports project cargo, Reefer Cargo and Medical Items, Diplomatic cargo,
Personal Cargo, Automobile, Barge, Tug Customs clearance and Air Charter & Vessel Charter
Customs Clearance of both Imports, exports from all Saudi Arabian Air, Seaports Customs during
my tenure with Kanoo Freight/Shipping - Dammam & Riyadh offices.
• Served as a Head of the Customs clearance department and held responsible for planning,
scheduling, organizing day to day Customs Clearance activity of SEA, AIR and LAND both Imports
and Exports shipments of project logistics division.
• Overseeing All the Customs Clearance related activities in Dammam Airport, Seaport and Bahrain
Causeway & all Other Boarder (Batha, Silla) Customs. As well as I have been stationed & working
with Riyadh Airport, Dry (rail) port Customs and port Authorities.
• Participate in the development of the Custom Clearance Sections work plan and preparing work
schedules based on ETA, Vessel berth, cargo discharge completion date at port, delivery deadline,
expediting work flow to improve efficiency of the Custom Clearance and Transportation of customs
cleared shipments, Cntrs out of port with in free time. Coordinate with the Clearing Agents, Truck
drivers, customers at receiving site to pre alert on cargo delivery, organize smooth receiving
operation so that trucks return the empty cntrs to shipper line yard with in free time.
• Served Air Freight Agent stationed in Apparel Industrial Exports Zone, handled Exports of Air
Freight movement as well as weekly Air Cargo freighter movements to Europe sector.
Coordination with Air lines, Price negotiation, Space booking, Close F/Up with Factory on Cargo
pickup, exports documentation and other formalities, Air cargo Loading, Transportation
Scheduling, Arrangements of Exports Customs Clearance formalities and coordination with buying
offices, Destination Agent, till Air Cargo reaches end receiver.
