• Planning, initiation and implementation of infrastructure related projects.
• Arranges Request for Proposal (RFP) of the Infrastructure related project. Revamping network links, upgrade to new fiber based technology,
• Procurement of hardware and successful implementation of networking, systems and infrastructure related projects
• Prepare, review and finalize all related Service Level Agreements (SLA).
• Assess & provide cost estimates of infrastructure related projects for annual IT budget
• Supervise administration of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN), Data Center and NOC operations, AD / Email services, VMWare and VDI solution at Head Office, secure internet VPN to support remote IT Centers, and domestic branches.
• Manages a team of 10 staff for day to day operations
• Ensure provisioning of Core Banking application over WAN to branches with centralized server administration and controlling.
• System and database administration of centralized database Oracle for all applications.
• Establishing a Centralized Help Desk Infrastructure in Head Office for rectifying issues related to LAN, Personal Computers, Laptops, Printers, Hardware and Software.

My prime job responsibilities as Technical Manager includes data and telecommunication services management in Barclays Bank Pakistan, a leading bank of UK. Working as part of a local and global team I ensure the deployment of over all Infrastructure including Data Centre setup, network (data and voice), servers, ATMs, and IT support functions, are well up to date as per global policies and standards.

I am experienced having technical skills where i perform BAU IT operations involving 24x7 data centre operations, Budgeting Network Opex cost, target to save by introducing new cost effect projects and products to maximize business profitability.

I also remain engage with network and infrastructure vendors in order to minimize Risk management of Vendor / Supplier.
