 Establishing and implementing a robust cost control program and cost review mechanism for the projects; generating, tracking and reviewing monthly cost, productivity and cash flow reports
 Liaising with the procurement department in providing the budget for permanent building materials; coordinating with site commercial team for negotiating with employers/subcontractors in completing final account
 Advise the project manager about cost and contract matters, generally, including estimates of the cost and time impact of proposed variation orders using the agreed change management procedures and also co-ordinate the variation order approval process.
 Review and manage the contractual obligations of all parties and continually review them to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.
 Identify risks, issues and suggest alternatives that lead to the best solution, and update the risk register. I act as the primary contact between the project, business, legal and commercial teams, ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.
 Identify possible areas of dispute amongst the project team and actively seek resolutions at an early stage. I am involved in claims preparation and develop contractual arguments for the basis of the claims. I prepare periodic reports concerning construction volume, variations and accruals.
 Intervene where necessary to analyze, manage and resolve business conflicts between the company and the subcontractors/suppliers.
 Lead tendering team activities from receiving invitations until bid submission, including activities such as site visits, creation of BOQ, preparing inquires to the client, sending RFQs, preparing calculation and comparison sheet, managing post-bid clarifications and more.

* Keep contacts with project manager besides liaising with individuals on project ensuring all separate elements of project fit together and are working towards a common aim.
* Monitor progress of project at different stages of its development making adjustments to schedules if necessary. Ensure that everyone involved in project is aware of how each activity relate to other’s to avoid any unnecessary delays hence evade penalty.
