Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at Al Tilal Steel Company

Maintenance Parameter:
•Defining the maintenance parameter for the equipment along with plant head to accurately restore and monitor the correctness of the working process through standards.
•Responsible for updating, modifying and managing the maintenance parameter for different equipment’s of machineries to analyse and accurately monitor the performance of each machine such as greasing, changing of oil, filters, temperature parameters, % reduction of the material, dimension of the finished product, weight and mechanical properties as per standards.

Maintenance, Planning and Shift Activities:
•Receiving the maintenance order from the production and process department and based on the production order, preparation of maintenance order.
•Responsible for entire shift activities Viz. Planning, Maintenance and Monitoring of the finished product.
•Keeping the track of maintenance as per planning and distributing the responsibility to subordinates accordingly in order to avoid maintenance on delay.
•Regulating maximum utilization of manpower and machineries.
•Timely execution of maintenance orders without any delay in the respective shift and preparation of maintenance report.
•Maintenance planning with minimum change in spare and equipment.
•To maintenance all material with minimum wastage and rejection.
•Responsible for necessary revision if needed to increase the maintenance including mechanical equipment, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Feedback and Reporting:
•Regularly communicate with the production department to ensure all products meet the working standards and the cause of any deviation can be identified.
•Responsible for follow up of trial process with material to provide feedback on the behaviour of the equipment.
•Responsible for reporting the results of all analysis maintenance data compare to standard data so that necessary adjustment can be done.
•Preparation of incident and near miss report and analyse the incident and to minimize it to zero percent.

Operational Management:
•Responsible for preparing preventive maintenance reports on a range of production performance and technical areas/issues in order to ensure that maintenance has necessary information to support decision making.
•Providing input to the department head on the working of the equipment based on the outcome of the maintenance process to ensure right usage of the machinery is being procured by the company.
•Providing suggestions for the improvement of operating standards and procedure in order to support continuous improvement in the operating performance.

Safety and Environment:
•Ensure compliance to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures implementing across the steel melt shop to guarantee employee safety and responsible environmental attitude
