Design, standard and calculations including but not limited to develop and process, control philosophy, logic and wiring diagrams, instrument specifications and data sheets, sizing control valves and orifices, control systems, Leak Detection Systems, Custody Metering skids, Tank Gauging system, Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), Fire & Gas Alarm system, ESD, PLC, DCS and SCADA. Involved in bidding purposes, technical bid evaluation, QA/QC checking, attending meeting with clients, collect data, prepare final study report & lead project team etc
Worked as Instrumentation & Automation Project Engineer for various Petro Chemical and Infrastructure Projects in Bahrain and Qatar. Project Bidding, Planning, Design, Material Take off, Estimation, Erection, Programming, Conducting SAT, Commissioning and handing over for I&C system were the major job responsibilities. Worked for various major Petrochemical, Water Transmission and Waste Water Treatment Projects. Get familiarize with SCADA, PLC, DCS, RTU, ESD, VMS, BMS, Field Instruments and also involved in instrument and electrical installations, loop checking etc. Also conduct training for client representative, address project meeting etc.
Major responsibilities and duties include project estimation, design, and material take off, programming, installation, commissioning and co-ordination with client’s representatives. Worked for various packaging industry automation, cement factory, Substation automations, Latex factories, desalination plants, water treatment and effluent treatment automation projects in South India. Familiarize with various PLC, SCADA, and Field Instruments etc.
I have relevant experience in PLC installation, programming (Ladder Logics, Functional Block diagram) such as RS Logix 500 & Concept, trouble shooting and commissioning of the following brands. 1. ALLEN BRADELY SLC 500 series. 2. HONEYWELL 620 series. 3. SCHNEIDER Quantum 434 12 PLC. I have full knowledge in SCADA Interfacing, designing of Man-Machine Interface (MMI) & Trouble Shooting of the following brands. 1. INTELLUTION FIX. 2. GE HARRIS XA/21. 3. PLANTSCAPE. I am proficient in installation, programming, Trouble shooting and commissioning of the following brands of RTU. 1. GE HARRIS WESDAC D20 M++. 2. ABB S.P.I.D.E.R. 3. BRODERSEN I am also proficient in Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and undergone Training in Design & Configuration on the following brands. 1. YOKOGAWA CS-1000 series. 2. HONEYWELL GUS. 3. FOX BORO (I/A) SERIES. • Did Projects In virtual Testing & Down loading on DCS Hardwires. • Knowledge of the fundamental concepts of C++, Visual Basic & COM-OPC. • Able to Work in Computers MS Office 2000, Windows 98 & 2000,LINUX & UNIX, AUTOCAD 2000 & MATLAB.
