• Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance, and projecting future performance.
• Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
• Managing and setting objectives, coaching and performance monitoring of sales engineers.
• Coordinating with project owners, consultants, channel partners and contractors to win projects by resolving issues related to price, services, warranty etc.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, exhibitions, reviewing professional publications, visiting new product suppliers factories, generating new leads and projects.
• To book Sales Orders of LV panels boards, Unit and package substations, Switchracks, Motor control centers, Sychronizing Panels, Lighting Control Panels, APFC Panels, ATS Panels, Metering Panels, Marshalling panels, Busducts etc.
• Visiting existing customers on regular basis and also creating new customer base for future projects within the kingdom.
• Establish excellent client relationship and customer rapport.
• Follow-up the progress of offers submitted, negotiate if required and thus leading to award of contract or placement of order.
• Responsible for coordinating with various internal departments for smooth execution of running orders.
• Ensure that client inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally, oversee assigned product offers, follow up and closing, assigned product application processes and after sales services if required.
• Coordinating with clients/contractors and consultants to resolve issues and thus ensure to meet the exact requirement of the end user/owner.
• Also responsible for submission of invoices upon delivery and collection of payments cheques from clients.
• Overseeing the hiring, training and maintaining of personnel.
• Handling the turning in of cash at the end of each sales day and is required to ensure that
all the money is accounted for in the end.
• Check the inventory on a frequent basis and make sure that orders are in when they are supposed to be.
• Responsible for maintaining good customer service upon sales and after sales.
• Handle advertising and promotional displays.
• Responsible for paying the employees and ensuring that the paychecks match the hours worked by each individual
• Responsible for business development of Electrical Products like Transformers, Package Substations, LV & MV Switchgears, Power Cables, Heat & Cold Shrink Joints, Cable Trays,
• Busducts, MCCB’s, VFD’s, Street Lighting Poles etc.
• Responding to RFQs, customer calls, enquiries, preparing quotations and submittals required for ongoing and bidding projects.
• Keeping track of all quotations submitted and performing the proper follow up to ensure the winning of the Sales Orders.
• Responsible for sourcing new business by visiting new projects, new companies, contractors and end users.
• Coordinating with clients/contractors to resolve queries and ensure 100% customer satisfaction and deliver what is promised within the scheduled time period.
• Carried out activities of project management which involves supply, installation, termination, testing and commissioning of LV panels, cables, package and unit substations, RMU’s, transformers etc.
• Develop, approve and co-ordinate work schedules to ensure cost, quality and time objectives are met.
• Familiar with material approval, shop drawings, planning, scheduling and labour allocation.
• Co-ordination with other trades.
• Responsible for payment certificates and change orders.
• Attend weekly meetings with end users and project engineers from client side.
• Deliver the project on time and within the priced budget.
• Worked as a part time internal auditor to conduct internal audits within departments.
• Accompany the ISO Auditor and famililiarize the departments and their working during annual ISO audits
• Handled the operations in supplying all types of LV panels boards, Unit and package substations, Switchracks, Motor control centers, Feeder Pillars, Sychronizing Panels, Lighting Control Panels, Control desks, APFC Panels, ATS Panels, Protection Relay Panels, Metering Panels, Mimic panels, Marshalling panels, Annunciation panels, Junction boxes etc. to GCC countries like K.S.A., Bahrain, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Iraq, Kuwait.
• Providing services like installation of all types of electrical equipments, cable laying,
termination, testing, commissioning etc.
• Submission of bids, project and delivery schedules, project budgets, technical submittals, prequalification’s, variation orders etc.
• Representing the company in various exhibitions which leads to enhancement of demand and productivity.
• Dealt with sales operations of ABB related electrical products and low voltage panel boards, MCC’s, RMU’s, Transformers, Cables etc.
• Develop continuously for new clients and new business opportunities.
• Analyze local market to identify market opportunities, prospective companies and identifies key accounts and business issues that have greatest effect on the use of company products/capabilities by meeting with customers to identify their needs, goals and constraints.
• Analyze and respond to RFQs and RFPs by working with solution providers and proposals teams.
• Provide full cycle support for new and current projects working with Project Managers and other Departments to achieve maximum profitability and total customer satisfaction.
• Perform additional functions, duties and specific tasks of a similar nature and scope as necessary in order to achieve assigned business objectives.
