• To supervise and lead the direct reportees. Ensure they work in a co-coordinated manner, adhering to all Rules, Regulations, Procedures and Standards of DULOG. Ensure that their expertise and time is utilized to its fullest.
• Promote and achieve Team Work. Act in an impartial and fair way when dealing with matters related to all Team Members.
• Personally supervise and handle wherever necessary Jobs of major customers from enquiry stage to completion stage.
• Negotiate and extract highly competitive tariffs and best Credit Terms, from Suppliers (Local and Overseas) including Airlines/Agents, Shipping Lines/Agents, Land Transporters, Warehouse Providers etc. Preparation of Tariffs covering key products. Maintain and update Suppliers' records and files.
• Identify new freight forwarding agents as per the Selection Criteria of the Company, add and replace wherever necessary.
• Trouble Shooting /Problem Solving: Identify root cause, analyze available solutions and come up with the right solution with the goal to fix the same on immediate and on permanent basis.
• To review the business processes and procedures to achieve continual improvement.
• Customer Relationship Management: To visit key Customers singly or jointly with KAM or Superiors as part of CRM for winning new business or for retention.
• Supplier Relationship Management: To visit key suppliers singly or jointly with Superiors as part of Relationship Management.
• Ensure that the Job Documentation is compete and as per the requirements to protect the interest of the company and arrange regular audits to ensure the adherence.
• Perform the role of the KAM related to those accounts which are assigned, including following up on due payments and to find new Customers for the Company.
• Risk Management: To ensure that Company is not exposed to avoidable risks.
• To study and to get involved hands-on related to understanding the specific and personalized requirements of new customers and to ensure the customer’s needs and expectations are met and processes are put in.
• To coordinate in a harmonized way with the Removals and Relocations Division and to ensure that common customers are handled and served from a single point of contact/Single Window basis.
• To impart and arrange Job Related Training to increase the competence and expertise of all staff members in the Freight Forwarding Division.
