Daily Responsibilities:
 Establishing internal loan controls and written policies and procedures and thereby ensuring the quality of the loan portfolio.
 Review all credits in excess of permissible delegation matrix parameters to ensure long-term asset quality
 Periodically review and reevaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of established policies and procedures.
 Responsible for providing communication to department staff regarding performance, including formal annual performance reviews
 Ensure the competency and accountability of lending and credit staff
 Responsible for accurately reporting to the CEO and HODs
 Ensure that new and existing loans are properly documented and lien positions are appropriately perfected.
 To remain current with regulatory, accounting or other changes that affect lending in all aspects.
 Control bookings of Direct Sales, Branches and Islamic Businesses to ensure that applicable areas provide prompt and efficient service to external and internal customers.
 Timely coordination between the Credit Approvals, Credit Administration and Operations, for efficiently and accurately running bookings.
 Ensure uniformity of reviews of Real Estate Valuations
 Responsible for coordinating all “credit related” examination data, document requests and all required information
