Lead the implementation of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) project in Al Razi Hospital.
§Support Al-Sahl (HIS) Go-Live and post Go-Live in Outpatient, Emergency, OR and In-Patient departments.
§Provide the end-user training and follow-up the enhancement requests.
§Manage the clinical data back-up processes and Supervise "HIS" releases/ updates on the main server.
Go-Live support and post Go-Live of TrakCare (HIS) for MEDCARE network which comprises of 4 multispecialty hospitals, 4 specialty centers and 9 medical centers.
§Resolution of issues reported by end users within the SLA time lines.
§Submit enhancement request reported by care-provider to vendor to improve the features of the HIS.
§Assess each enhancement requests assigned to see the impact and effort involved.
Go-Live support and post Go-Live support of EPIC (EMR).
§Provides classroom trainings for newly join caregivers such as physicians, nurses and allied health in clinical applications and department specific workflow in their assigned areas.
§Delivers an elbow-to-elbow training for employees that need extensive training and in-depth knowledge of the applications to effectively and efficiently perform their task with the help of clinical application.
§Develops and maintains training manuals, tip sheets, quick reference guide and other educational materials as needed.
§Learns and understands the operational workflows of the clinical areas for which providing primary support, and how the workflows integrate with the electronic medical record and other clinical systems.
§Liaises primarily with managers and caregivers within their area to enhance the design of the informatics systems (hardware, software and medical equipment) within the area of specialty.
§Raises, tracks and updates all system/project changes in conjunction with the Informatics Administrative team through a recognized management tool to ensure proper governance, enable effective responses to clinical requirements and management reporting.
§Partners with the department's Administration team in providing information and facilitating project management oversight and governance of the projects in support of the overall goals of the department and Cleveland Clinic.
§Participates in the development, testing and parallel runs of applications and technological solutions.
§Receives and assesses employees service requests and incidents related to IT clinical applications and prioritizes the interaction based on impact and urgency.
§Handles support calls from end users relating to IT clinical application requests or incidents, either via email, phone, or face to face. Attempts first call resolution (FCR) when addressing requests or resolving issues.
§Escalating advanced issues to the appropriate IT support analyst groups or vendors where the individual is unable to resolve on their own.
§Delivers and resolves Incidents/Service request in the organization defined SLA's wherever possible.
§Ability to work on call as and when required due to the hospital being a 24*7 operational environment.
§Completes Testing activities, tests new application releases in conjunction with established change control processes.
§Provides system and process knowledge during scheduled and unscheduled downtimes, to ensure downtime and recovery workflows are followed, and the system is working as designed after the downtime.
